PURPOSE
iDeal is a payment method used in the Netherlands for e-commerce transactions. APEXX offers iDeal in cooperation with our partner PPRO.
CAUSE
iDeal payments through PPRO are supported by a number of specific banks. Merchants will need to submit the BIC of a supporting bank in the iDeal payment request. Sending the BIC of an unsupported bank will receive in a rejection with the response message "Channel tag cannot handle this request: Given idealbankcode not supported".
SOLUTION
The following banks can be used in conjunction with iDeal and PPRO:
